Dagger Savant (5e Feat)
Dagger Savant
Prerequisites: Dexterity 13 or higher
Your skill with a dagger reaches far beyond what is attainable through simple training. The weapon is like an extension of your own body, your movements and abilities with such seeming like second nature to you even while others find them bewildering to behold.
- You gain advantage on any Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) checks to conceal a dagger on your person.
- The range of your thrown daggers increases to 40/80. Attacking at long range with a thrown dagger no longer imposes disadvantage.
- You now ignore half cover and three-quarters cover when you attack a target within the normal range of your thrown daggers.
- When another creature successfully hits you with a melee attack whilst you have a dagger equipped, you can use your reaction to parry and thus reduce the damage by 1d8. Once you use this feature, you can not use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
