Corrupt Conduit

"You are merely a man,but I am master and Legions in one!"
—Gerasenes, hell-bred Corrupt Conduit

Feats: expel vestage,

Class Features

Invocations: At each level, you gain new invocations known and an increase in caster level as if you had also gained a level in an invocation-using class to which you belonged before adding the prestige class level. (This includes eldritch blast.) You do not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. If you had more than one invocation-using class before becoming a Corrupt Conduit, you must decide to which class to add each level for the purpose of determining caster level and invocations known.

Soul Binding Bonus: At each Corrupt Conduit level, your soul binding ability improves as if you had also gained a level in the binder class. Your Corrupt Conduit levels and binder levels stack for the purpose of determining your bonus on binding checks, the effectiveness of your vestige-granted abilities, your ability to bind higher-level vestiges, and the number of vestiges you can bind. You do not, however, gain any other benefit a binder would have gained.

Rapid Pact Making: At first level a Corrupt Conduit get Rapid Pact Making as a bonus feat even if they do not meet the requirements. Additionally you can use Expel Vestige an unlimited number of times per day (but still suffer from the binding check penalty as normal per use).

Pact Eater: At 2nd level, you learn how to use a bound vestige to boost your Invocations. With this ability, you can choose to forego gaining two of the vestige's granted abilities in order to gain one Invocation know during the time that that vestige is bound of level that you can cast and proportional to the vestiges level. A least invocation can be gained from a level 1 vestige, lesser from a 3rd level, greater from 5th, and a dark invocation can be gained from a 7th level vestige. A stronger vestige can grant lower level Invocations if you chose.

You decide which ability to give up before you make the binding check, and you can forego only two abilities per day in this manner per vestiges. Vestiges react poorly to your use of this ability, so you take a —5 penalty on your binding check. If you make a good pact despite this penalty, you gain a bonus Invocation in exchange for the abilities you gave up. If you make a poor pact (that is, you fail your binding check), you do not gain the extra Invocation, and you still give up the designated ability for the day.

When you use this ability and make a good pact, you sever a portion of the bound vestige's awareness of the world that it would normally receive through you. Essentially, your binding amounts to a certain amount of trickery. The vestige being bound expects to be able to experience life through its binder, but when you make a good pact, you partially suppresses the benefit the vestige receives, making it uncomfortable and angry.

Dark Pact Making: You excel at dominating weaker vestiges and gain the ability to bind an extra vestige under the condition that two or more of the vestiges you bind are at least 2 levels below the highest level you could bind. for example a binder with effective level of 8 can bind 2 level 4 or lower vestiges. With this ability at effective binder level 8 you could bind 2 level 2 or lower vestiges and 1 level 4 or lower vestige.

Mettle(Ex): At 5th level and higher, a Corrupt Conduit can resist magical and unusual attacks with great willpower or fortitude. If he makes a successful Will or Fortitude save against an attack that normally would have a lesser effect on a successful save (such as any spell with a saving throw entry of Will half or Fortitude partial), he instead completely negates the effect. An unconscious or sleeping Corrupt Conduit does not gain the benefit of mettle.

Incarnate of Patron: At 10th level the effect of having your patron vestige bound become the full benefit of the half fiend, half celestial, or Alu-Demon template, as closet to the conduits alignment. Additionally the character no longer ages and can be treated as a Outsider(native) or their original type as preferential for any effect (whether or not they have there patron vestige bound).

Additionally this vestige has a few unique properties. You do not need to make a binder check to bind it; it does not expire at the end of every day as normal, but can be removed through use of Expel Vestige without penalty; it is treated as a vestige of the highest level you can bind. Its sign is a slow demonic transformation that can be covered and disguised but not suppressed by the suppress sign ability.

11There are some who mix styles of generally dark pact magics..
16The nature of their pacts make them more susceptible to influence than other soul binders. They are resistant to most elemental attacks.
21More powerful conduits generally take on aspects of fiends or celestial. There damage reduction can generally be bypassed by magic weapons.
