Those who have a Combat Magic bloodline have the abilities to change their magic to close range instead of from a distance. Those who have this bloodline tend to have a strong defense and offense when it comes to attacks. They tend to excel when it comes to combat
Defensive Constitution
Starting when you select this subclass your skin grows stronger becomes useful for battle. You are able to use your Defense to raise an extraordinary amount. While you are not wearing medium or heavy armor and not wielding a shield, you may add your Charisma modifier to your AC. This effect does not stack with Unarmored Defense.
Close Range Spell Transformation
When you reach 6th level, you are able to transform a normally ranged attack to close range. When you cast a spell that targets one or more creatures with a ranged spell attack, you may instead reshape that spell so that it can only target creatures within 5 feet of you as a melee spell attack. Whenever you change a long range spell to one of melee add half of your proficiency bonus to your hit as well as one extra die of the spell’s damage roll. This includes all schools of magic. If a spell has a cylinder or sphere area-of-effect, you may opt to change the area to a cone of the same radius, centered on yourself.
Advanced Magic Combat
At 14th level your expertise in close combat has risen to new heights. When you cast a spell that targets yourself it doesn’t count as a leveled spell in regards to the number of spells you can cast on your turn.
The Magic Body
At 18th level your physical body has been imbued with magic to the outer shell of your body. When you gain this feature you gain resistance to all damage types besides bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing. Your speed also increases by double.
