Color Blindness, Complete (3.5e Trait)

Complete Color Blindness

3e Summary::Your color vision is non-existent.
Prerequisite: You must be able to see.
Benefit: You gain Low-Light Vision, or, if you already have Low-Light Vision, increase the visible range multiplier by one (x2 to x3, x3 to x4, etc).
Drawback: At the the DM's discretion you suffer a -2, -5, or -10 penalty when a check is harder to do without seeing color. You also automatically fail anytime an action requires seeing color, unless you can just take a wild guess, in which case, the outcome would be entirely random (d%).
Special: Skills that may suffer penalties include: Appraise, Craft, Disable Device, Disguise, Forgery, Heal, Hide, Profession, Search, Spellcraft, Spot, Survival, Use Magic Device
Roleplaying Ideas: How do you react to their color blindness? Are you ashamed, do you consider it as a disability, or do you perhaps embrace it as part of what makes them special? Some cultures may regard color blindness as the mark of a demon or a curse from some great devil. Have you encountered any people like this? Were they hostile to you as a tainted monster, or did they take pity on your plight?
