College of Troublemakers (5e Subclass)

College of Troublemakers

Troublemaker Bards are a scrappy bunch, perhaps not even deserving of the "College" title. They pick fights, they don't do finesse, and they don't play nice. They're rascals, rough-housers, and vagabonds. They're essentially the medieval equivalent of punk rock.

Riot!

By level 3, you naturally find yourself in tough situations, be it an uprising you instigated or a fistfight over a minor disagreement. You gain proficiency in improvised weapons, and the damage die of your improvised weapons changes to match your Bardic Inspiration die, allowing it to improve whenever your Bardic Inspiration die improves.

Punk Magic

You love breaking the rules, and spellcasting is no exception. Starting at level 3, you can use any improvised weapon you're holding as a spellcasting focus.

Adept Scuffler

By 6th level, when you use your action to attack with an improvised weapon, you may cast the Vicious Mockery cantrip as a bonus action, provided you know it.
Additionally, when a creature within 5 feet of you misses you with an Attack roll, you can use your reaction to Grapple or Shove the creature.

Ignite the Flame of Passion

By level 14, you have become the master of sparking violence among people you know. As a bonus action, you can use a Bardic Inspiration die to give yourself and allies within 60 feet of you a bonus to damage rolls equal to your Charisma modifier until the start of your next turn.

gollark: It does? I should update.
gollark: <@237328509234708481> Are you planning to readd that CCTweaks feature allowing turtles to use any tool via a tool manipulator or whatever?
gollark: Can *your* OS do that?
gollark: By multiplying two smallish prime numbers (inaccessible to the user except via the debug API, if it was available in potatOS (it's not, fully)) to make a bigger *semi*prime it's possible to make a problem easy to generate but relatively hard to solve.
gollark: It's actually very fast.
