This shield (light or heavy only) has a rendition of your faith's holy symbol magically "painted" on it and displayed prominently. It functions fully as your holy symbol, allowing Clerics to use a heavy shield and still cast spells. It costs as a +1 bonus. Should the image of the symbol be damaged (such as by an erase spell) it re-draws over the next 1d4 hours, and cannot be used until it has finished repairing itself.

This shield also has the added benefit of making it annoyingly difficult to disarm you of your holy symbol.
