Druids belonging to the Circle of Roots cherish and safeguard the forests of the natural world

and their inhabitants.

Wild Growth

When you choose this circle at 2nd level, you can use your Wild Shape to transform into not just beasts but plants as well.

Underwood Sanctuary

Beginning at 2nd level, your presence is indistinguishable from the surrounding plant life while you remain motionless. You also have advantage while moving stealthily in undergrowth and tree-covered terrain.

Green Thumb

Starting at 6th level, you can cast Speak with Plants at will, without expending a spell slot.

Wrath of the Forest

Starting at 10th level, you can cast Wrath of Nature at will, without expending a spell slot. Rocks are not animated by the spell when you cast it in this way.

Woodland Spirit

Starting at 14th level, you can cast Tree Stride at will, without expending a spell slot.

gollark: A lot of the time you're just doing boring drudgery integrating other already-existing things, which will soon be significantly automated I think. Sometimes you actually need to spend time thinking about clever algorithms to do a thing, or how to make your thing go faster, or why your code mysteriously doesn't work, which is harder.
gollark: It's mentally challenging, sometimes, but obviously not particularly physically hard.
gollark: There are lots of cool applications now. Automatic generation of art, protein folding, human-level competitive programming, good OCR.
gollark: Ah, but it's *very complicated* curve fitting which can sometimes do interesting things.
gollark: Any particular improvement might not work, but I would be *very very surprised* if people several hundred years ago just happened to stumble on the optimal court system.
