Cheshire Cat (5e Race)

Cheshire Cat

"If you don't know where you're going, any road will get you there"

Physical Description

Illustration by John Tenniel, Character by Lewis Carroll, Sourced from Wikipedia

The Cheshire Cat is an ordinary cat like any other, except not so. The first thing anyone would see is their grin. Grinning like a Cheshire Cat they say. But those who say that have never seen a Cheshire Cat grin, for it is unmistakable. The only thing that grins like a Cheshire Cat is another Cheshire Cat. Sometimes you may not even see the cat at all. Sometimes you might only see their head, or their grin. They have an uncanny ability to disappear, but never all at once, the grin leaves last. They have unnaturally flexible arms and fingers(not actual fingers but paws that can wield and maneuver objects with impressive skill.)

History

No one knows the history of the Cheshire Cats, they've always been secretive like that. People only ever know what they are told, and a cat rarely ever say a lot, except when they say a lot of nothing. They do have a history of just showing up and following interesting people. You'll never see more than one in one place, unless you do. They're impossible to find, unless they find you. You may only see one, but that doesn't mean there is only one.

Cheshire Cat Names

So few people know more than one Cheshire Cat, and if they do they often believe it to be the same cat. For this reason, many Cheshire Cats are simply known as The Cheshire Cat, or Cat for short. Even if they have names, they would never tell someone it, it would ruin the mystery.

Cheshire Cat Traits

Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 2 and your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Age. It is unknown if a Cheshire Cat can ever die of age, perhaps they just turn invisible for longer.
Alignment. The Cheshire Cats have always done what they want, they tend towards chaotic, however not always good. They only ever do things to amuse themselves, however they are usually loyal to those they call friends, so long as those friends are amusing.
Size. Cheshire Cats are small(3 feet tall), probably. Then again though, "You may have noticed that I'm not all there myself".
Speed. Your base walking speed is 25 feet and you have a hovering speed of 20 feet but you cannot go higher than 20 feet of a surface and if you go over a ledge with a drop of 20 feet or more you fall till 20 feet above the ground and stop there without taking any damage.
Darkvision. Cheshire Cats have darkvision of 60 ft.
Not All There. Cheshire Cats have the uncanny ability to just appear. Cheshire Cats can use an action to become invisible as if they had cast greater invisibility and can dismiss it as an action, however they can cause certain parts of themselves to reappear, for example their eyes and mouth are the only things visible.. They can do this at will indefinitely however being charmed, frightened, stunned, poisoned, set alight by fire, being knocked unconscious or killed will cause you to become visible again.
Mad Growth. Using an action you can grow to medium(6 feet tall), Large(12 feet tall), Huge(24 feet tall) or revert back to small(3 feet tall).
Claw and tooth. Your unarmed strike does 1d4+Dexterity modifier slashing damage and you gain a new attack called Bite with range of 5 feet that does 1d6+Strength modifier piercing damage. The damage of both these attacks increases by 1 dice size per size increase. (For example 1d4 slash becomes 1d6 at medium.)
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.
