Cauldron (3.5e Equipment)

Cauldrons are used to brew witch crafted items. They can also be used to brew more mundane concoctions, such as stews or soups, or even utilized for laundry.

Cauldron, Leather: A leather cauldron is a sheet of leather which can be folded up and carried in a backpack when not in use. It can be used for witch crafting via the Erect Cauldron ability, but imposes a -1 circumstance penalty to Craft (alchemy) checks made on items (or item components) brewed within it. Cost 5sp; Weight 2 lb.

Cauldron, Tin: A tin cauldron enables witchcraft brewing, but grants no bonuses (or penalties). Cost 1gp; Weight 10 lb.

Cauldron, Iron: An iron cauldron grants a +1 circumstance bonus to Craft (alchemy) checks made on items (or item components) brewed within it. Cost 2gp; Weight 20 lb.

Cauldron, Steel: A steel cauldron grants a +2 circumstance bonus to Craft (alchemy) checks made on items (or item components) brewed within it. Cost 5gp; Weight 25 lb.

Cauldron, Copper: A copper cauldron grants a +3 circumstance bonus to Craft (alchemy) checks made on items (or item components) brewed within it. Cost 10gp; Weight 20 lb.

Cauldron, Steel, Copper-bottomed: A copper-bottomed steel cauldron grants a +5 circumstance bonus to Craft (alchemy) checks made on items (or item components) brewed within it. Cost 20gp; Weight 25 lb.
