Cat Sith (5e Race)

This page is of questionable balance. Reason: schrodinger exceeds anything in the PHB. Druids get wild shape at level 2, twice. alter self is a 2nd level spell, and doesn't allow appearance to become four legged. trait severely needs attention for this race to be playable. Please read the 5e_Race_Design_Guide.

This page is incomplete and/or lacking flavor. Reason: Possibly the least amount of lore/fluff I've seen

Cait Sith

The Cait Sith are Humans with the ability to change into cats. Legend says they are only able to change 9 times(and are Witches), but this is obviously just folklore...

Physical Description

Humanoids with the ability to shift into a cat. They usually lack feline features, but may have them...

History

The Cait Sith are almost always watched for for it is said they can steal souls. People leave out bowls of milk so they may be blessed by it, and those who don't are cursed with dry cows.

Society

They do not like each other very much and so only gather in groups of 2-3 at a time...

Age. Age a little faster than humans, can live to be about 80.
Alignment. Most commonly Chaotic Neutral.
Size. Medium when in human form and small when in cat form.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Feline Darkvision. You can see in all darkness as if it were well lit up to 80 feet.

gollark: Okay, turns out that was just arraybuffers being stupid.
gollark: Somehow every message ends up being decoded as about 79 zeros.
gollark: Still working on improving the skynet web UI. Unfortunately JS is evil. I may have to rewrite this component in Rust too.
gollark: Are you still going for the ridiculous "I'll buy all my parts over 3 years" thing?
