The Carar Host (5e Subclass)

Warlock Otherworldly Patron: Carar Host

The Carar is a symbyotic alien virus. Those desperate, foolish or intrepid enough to let it inhabit thier body gain remarkable magical powers, along with some bodily mutations, which do give significant benefits... If you count having a claw-arm as a benefit.

Infected Claw

Starting at 1st level when you choose the Carar Host patron, you grow toxic liquid sacs on your arms, not unlike slaads. Your unarmed strikes deal 1d6 poison damage, and count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.

Infective Spores

Starting at 6th level, as an action, you can expend a Warlock spell slot of 1st level or higher to exhale infective spores. Each creature in a 20-foot cone must make a Constitution saving throw against your warlock spell save DC. On a failed save, a creature takes 3d8 poison damage and becomes poisoned for 1 hour. On a success, a creature takes half as much damage, and is not poisoned. If you expend a spell slot higher than 1st level, the damage increases by 1D8 per level of the spell slot used.

Biotic Resistance

Starting at 10th level, you gain resistance to acid and poison damage, and you cannot be poisoned.

Regenerative Bacteria

Starting at 14th level, you regain HP equal to your Constitution modifier at the start of each of your turns unless you are on 0 HP or you have more than half your hit point maximum. At 18th level, you regain your Constitution modifier + 5 HP at the beginning of each of your turns (same limitations apply).

gollark: Never mind, my numbers were wrong, a maximum of 14W or so.
gollark: 100cm² = a 10cm by 10cm square.
gollark: A 100cm² drone will receive an *absolute maximum* of 20W of solar power.
gollark: So you need more weight and thus more motors.
gollark: So your drone is down half the time?
