Some of your skills require your target to make a saving throw to resist the effects. The saving throw DC is calculated as follows: DC: 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength.

Beginning at 7th level, as a action you may strangle a grappled creature. You must have a free hand for this and the target must have his neck free of obstructions (DM discretion here). You make another Athletics check, the target must contest with a constitution saving throw. On a fail the target takes a d4 of force, on a success the target don't take any damage and can use it reaction to try to escape the grapple. Each round the target fails the saving throw of the same strangle the damage increase in another d4. The target is no longer strangled if the grapple effect ends. You can release the strangle any time you like (no action required). If the strangle extend more than 5 rounds (30 seconds) the target also starts to suffocate.(Check the rules for suffocation PHB pg. 183)

Imposing Muscles

At 10th level, as a bonus actions you can put fear in the heart of your enemies showing yours all might muscles. All enemies within 9 ft. must make a wisdom saving throw, in a fail it has disadvantage on any check to resist your grapple attack or escape your grapple. In a success the target is immune to the effect for the next 24 hours. Posing your big muscles in a fight requires a lot of energy and concentration so you must finish a long or short rest before tempt this again. At level 14 you can do it twice before rest, and at level 19 you can do it once more.

Submissions

Starting at 15th level, as an action you may give the grappled enemy a submission, for that the target mus be grappled, you must have at least one free hand, and the target must be prone. You must make a Athletics check contested by a Athletics or Dexterity check, in a success you and the target are prone and restrained. But you are in a submission position (examples: Armbars, Leglocks, Headlocks, Kneebars etc.) depending in witch you choose with a action you can break an arm or a leg or something else of the opponent dealing 2d10 of force.
