Boon of The Doom Slayer (5e Epic Boon)

Boon of The Doom Slayer

Prerequisite: Character has been involved in slaying 30 demons or more, or a Demon Lord

Hell quakes before you and thus you have been granted the power few have claimed. You have earned the title of Doom Slayer.

Because of your new title you gain the following benefits:

  • You gain proficiency with all simple melee/ranged and martial melee/ranged weapons. If the weapon is rare, such as a gun or futuristic weapon, you may take 1 hour to study the weapon and gain proficiency with it.
  • You can sense the presence of Demons or those with demonic blood within 1 mile of your location.
  • You can perform a Glory kill on any creature who's health is less than your level + your strength modifier. This move kills the creature in a spectacular fashion, causing creatures within 60 feet of you to make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 15) or become frightened of you. You may do this an amount of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1). You recover your uses of this feature on a short rest.

gollark: MORE weirdly.
gollark: You can't really discriminate by company size too much because otherwise someone will just restructure their company weirdly.
gollark: Because a complex thing with many patents involved (I'm thinking video codecs and stuff here) would require licensing it from/dealing with tons of individual people.
gollark: Also, that would be nightmarish to deal with in some cases.
gollark: Or, well, on company time?
