Blood Assassin

Rogue Subclass Inspired by Toga Himiko from the My Hero Academia franchise, The artwork used is rendered from a sadly dead game and unofficial game, Smash Tap.


Use your victim's blood to turn the tide of battle, watch and stalk your pray to gain further power whilst transformed, utilize your unique crafting to increase your blood draining capabilities.

This sub-class primarily focuses on the aspect of utilizing creatures that bleed ingesting their blood and using their features to gain the upper hand,

if your campaign has alot of constructs or undead you may have a few issues.

At first glance people may accuse you of being a vampire due to your now sharper teeth and desire for blood.

Toga Himiko also utilizes equipment to enhance her blood drinking abilities, The Blood Sucking Machine and Mask are essential items in her kit.


Vampire by Nature

At 3rd level, You may drink blood without contracting poison or disease.

You have a form of Darkvision allowing you to see up to 60 feet in complete darkness however you may discern colours

You move an additional 10 feet

You may track via even the faintest scent of blood, this will be included into your Survival rolls.

Gain advantage on tracking/perception rolls against targets whom are bleeding/bloodied.


Blood Transfusions

You gain a resource named Blood Drinking these points are up to your level These points will return upon completing a short/long rest.


You can target a corpse rolling a 1d4 + Charisma modifier. (Once per Corpse) Drawing blood and placing it into a container.

One container can contain only one dosage and can be used multiple times.

You may also drink the blood splashed across your weapon to transform so long as it is fresh. (2 Minutes)

Doing this will consume your bonus action and will clean the blade.


Vamperic Bite

Consume your Action and bite into a target dealing 1d6 + Charisma modifier. healing for the amount dealt as magical damage you can additionally transform into the creature now that you've ingested their blood for the amount of minutes = to the damage rolled, Consuming a Blood Drinking Point. You may only use this on a corpse once, after that it is considered drained.

The damage of Vamperic Bite raises at level 5, 8, 14, 20 (1d8 1d10 1d12 2d8)


Blood Siphoning (Requires Blood Sucking Machine)

Consume an Action to throw a Syringe at the target dealing 1d4 + Dexterity modifier. (40 feet) If the attack lands, The targets blood is Siphoned though a tube into the Canister and then stored. The Syringe is then pulled away at the start of the creatures next turn. If the Blood Mask is equipped you can choose to drink the blood immediately from the Canister without expending a bonus action.

The damage of Blood Siphoning raises at level 5, 8, (1d6 1d8)


Transform

Consume and an action and Blood (Stored or Fresh) Gaining access to abilities for 1 = 10 minutes.

However your maximum hp will remain the same Voices and appearance are mimicked perfectly however you must act in a manner fitting of who you transformed into to avoid suspicion, You can revert back at anytime.

Whilst under the effects of this transformation, your armor and clothing cannot be shape shifted so you will have to make a choice to remove it.

Whilst unarmored in a transformed state, you gain the AC of what you have transformed into. you have advantage on any Charisma (Deception) check you make to avoid detection.

The creature you turn into must be humanoid, either the same size as you, or one step above or below you on the size chart.


Partial Transformation

Consume Blood and an action and(Stored or Fresh) Gaining access to abilities for 1 = 20 minutes,

You may also choose to change a specific part of your body instead

This can be beneficial as you may gain effects such as Dark Vision if using a creatures eyes that has this ability.

You can also simply choose a voice, or any other body part to gain its effects.

The creature you use into must be humanoid.

Serrated Blades, Dressed to Kill

At Level 9, Your Daggers, gain +1 to attack rolls and damage rolls. (1)

Should you attack with a Dagger or Knife, the creature will noticeably bleed forcing a trail to pool beneath them. (if applicable)

Additionally your Blood Siphoning may fire two Syringes from the Blood Sucking Machine in a single action.


At Level 13, Whilst using Daggers, gain an additional +1 to attack rolls and damage rolls. (2)

Once you consume the blood of a creature and transform, As long as you've visually seen and learned how the ability works you may utilize it whilst in their form.

Additionally your Blood Siphoning may fire three Syringes from the Blood Sucking Machine in a single action.


At Level 17, Whilst using a Dagger, gain +1 to attack rolls and damage rolls. (3)

When you score a critical hit with a dagger to a creature, you grievously wound it.

Until the start of your next turn, the target has disadvantage on all attack rolls and has its movement lowered by 10.

Your Blood Siphoning now deal 1D6 + Dexterity.

Agent of Darkness

At the 13th level The Blood Assassin moves at an extreme rate becoming a blur gaining the Misty Step spell, This can be cast twice before requiring a short or long rest.


Bond of Blood

At 17th level, select a Party Member/Creature, This will be your link.

If you are within 5 ft of the link, you may use your reaction to impose disadvantage on an attacker for their turn.

If this Party Member/Creature falls unconscious, enter a rage,

Until they are stabilized or battle ends, Gain +2 AC and gain advantage on attacks dealt to enemies around your link (50 feet from them).



Crafting

To craft these, You'll require assistance or from a leather-smith and a blacksmith unless you have Leather-workers Tools or Smiths Tools.

These will provide enhancements to your Blood Assassin abilities.


Blood Mask

This mask Allows Toga to drink directly from whatever she plunges her needles into quickly and effectively.

It also helps ventilate Toxic gas and Poisons giving advantages on Saving Throws against non-injected Poison attacks.

To build this you must gain the following


Leather

(Small Creature) (Hunted)


1 LB Iron

(General Store)


Blood Sucking Machine

This kit is Togas primary utility for blood draining, It consists of 6 syringes that fill up with blood once inserted into a creature,

The blood then travels through the tubing into the canisters and can then be transferred into the mask at a high rate. The syringes are attached to a large scarf worn around the neck.

This allows Toga to consistently fight whilst draining blood.

The maximum range of the Needles are 40 feet.

Equipping this item will require atleast 5 minutes and must be removed when taking a long rest.
