The grip is plain, but the guard is skeletal, with a skull-design on each side leading to the rib cage from which the blade emerges; on both sides of the blade, the skull is that of a screaming horned human. The blade of the necromancer is a +3 Razor Sharp Serrated Ghost Touch Keen Shrinking Soul Drinking Speed Longsword

Once per day as a full round action, the blade's damage can be replaced with the effect of finger of death.

The Blade of the Necromancer can only be wielded by an evil arcane or divine spellcaster that has 10 ranks in Knowledge (Arcana).
