Bestiary (Verendal Supplement)
This is intended to serve as a supplement to the Monster Manual.
Undead
There are all manner of undead throughout Verendal due to an unknown cataclysm causing the dead to rise in mere days after they fall. As a result, almost any creature can be infected with the negative energies released by this event creating any type of undead such as zombies, wraiths, ghosts and the like to appear throughout the world. More powerful undead exist such as vampires, death knights and lichs. There are rumors of undead being able to take the abilities of other undead to bolster their own power.
Dragons
The age of dragons is more noticeable from Wyrmling to the ever powerful Great Wyrm. Those who have studied dragons or are of dragons are aware of the minor nuances between the age categories.
Chromatic dragons are as fierce as they come, most however choose to avoid establishing lairs within the Kin Empire as it is common sport for noble houses to send their children and/or adventurers to slay these dragons as trophies and for prestige.
Metallic dragons on the other hand are very rare on the Material Plane and prefer to live in the neighboring planes that they choose to call home. Roteton Kin, father of the Kinson7, is one of the few remaining metallic dragons still on the Material Plane.
