Metamorph (Shifter Archetype)

What Shifters should have been from the beginning: Wild Shape, The Class. Combining the Claws and Chimeric powers of the Shifter with the Druid's much more versatile version of Wild Shape makes the Metamorph the ultimate shapeshifter.

Signature Form: At 1st level, a Metamorph chooses a shape that she could assume with Wild Shape at her Metamorph level +3. This becomes her Signature Form. She may use Wild Shape to take her Signature Form as though she were 3 levels higher (including the extra hours of Wild Shape available at that level), and every 2 hours she spends in that form only uses 1 hour of Wild Shape. If she could use Wild Shape to take her Signature Form without this 3 level bonus, she may do so as a Move action instead of a Standard action. At 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th levels, she chooses an additional Signature Form, and may replace one of her earlier Signature Forms with a new one. When taking Chimeric Forms, she receives the Signature Form benefits only if all of the forms she is combining are Signature Forms. This replaces Shifter Aspect and Second, Third, and Fourth Aspect.

Wild Shape: At 4th level, a Metamorph gains Wild Shape as a Druid of her Metamorph level, with the addition that she may take Small and Medium Magical Beast shapes at 8th level and Tiny and Large Magical Beast shapes at 10th level, as beast shape III and IV. Her Wild Shape forms' natural attacks are affected by Shifter Claws like a Shifter's Major Aspect. Her uses of Wild Shape are measured in hours per day like a Shifter. This replaces Wild Shape.

Chimeric Form: At 9th level, a Metamorph gains the ability to combine two shapes with Wild Shape. Both creatures must be the same size, either Small or Medium, and the same type (animal, plant, magical beast, or elemental). She gains all of the benefits of taking each form. In cases where both forms give the same benefit -- such as the same type of movement speed, or the same type of natural attack -- they do not stack, instead she chooses which one to use when she takes the form. Chimeric forms have the appearance of a hybrid of the combined creatures, and cannot be mistaken for anything ordinary. This replaces Chimeric Aspect.

A Thousand Faces: A Metamorph gains A Thousand Faces at level 13. This alters A Thousand Faces.

Greater Chimeric Form: At 14th level, a Metamorph may combine up to three Small or Medium shapes, or two Tiny or Large shapes with Wild Shape. This replaces Greater Chimeric Aspect.

Final Form: At 20th level, a Metamorph may use Wild Shape at will, and may combine up to five Small or Medium shapes, up to three Tiny or Large shapes, or two Diminutive or Huge shapes. This replaces Final Aspect.

gollark: I don't know. I just assumed that it would be accursedly bureaucratic.
gollark: I feel like you would need to do a lot of bureaucracy for that.
gollark: I WILL maybe obsolete the people complaining that video lectures aren't searchable.
gollark: Excitingly, I finally found a good offline automatic transcription library, so I can implement some sort of "video grep" mechanism.
gollark: Didn't that horribly overload all the transport or something?
