Beastfolk, Foxes (Farytale) (3.5e Race)

Beastfolk, Foxes

They are part of the collective Beastfolk people under the Royal Reign of King Hadrian 'The Beast' Null, a Wolf Beastfolk.

Personality

Beastfolk in a general are a laidback, let life flow by type race. Most Foxes are great con men and tend to lie with an ease that the truth has never been. But when you get to know them you’ll find that their honesty is in what they do, not what they say. Once you’ve befriended them, they are your friend through thick and thin. They tend to sweet talk as second nature.

Physical Description

Foxes are usually taller and heavier than humans, standing at an average of 7-8 feet tall and weighing 180-250 pounds. The female of the race tends to be the taller, though thinner, of the two. Foxes tend to have a variety of red or orange shaded thin coat of fur, sometimes you can find the rare Black or White colored Fox. Their hair is usually the same color as their fur. Their eyes are usually yellow, green, or blue. They prefer formal clothes, or things that give a false representation of their class, using their dress as a means to convince others to trust them.

Relations

They are a very closed off race, tending to keep to themselves when not trying to scam someone. Because of this, other races, even the other subraces of the Beastfolk, find it hard to be around Foxes for too long.

Alignment

The Foxes usually have their own set of morals that they follow, whether that goes against others morals or the laws, it doesn’t matter. SO they are usually found in a Neutral Alignment.

Lands

They used to be found mainly in forests, but have, in recent years, moved to more urban settings, small towns and cities are their preferred place of residence now.

Religion

They follow only the call of the coin; they might follow a god of trickery or wealth if they find one.

Language

All Beastfolk can speak Common, Feline, and Sylvan. Foxes are not the exemption. They also pick up languages easily, most know at least three languages other than Common, Feline or Sylvan. Foxes also speak Wolfen inherently, like their brethren the Wolf Beastfolk.

Names

Foxes usually have more than one name in which they change when they need to. Their first names are given to them by their mother, and they usually choose common names with multiple meanings. They usually keep their first true name, the one given to them by their mother, to themselves as they get older, preferring nicknames or using new self chosen names. If you learn the Foxes name it would be considered a great honor and not to be taken lightly.

gollark: Hmm, that is certainly a benefit.
gollark: Tiny stuff like "pagination buttons at bottom" now needs its own thread.
gollark: Er, about ten, actually, but whatever.
gollark: Except now tiny suggestions will be split across about ten million.
gollark: Probably because they contain things they don't like and want to get rid of, but whatever.
