Personality

Auditae are a merry folk, spending their time lounging about, or training to alter the sounds that prevail in their home dimension.

Physical Description

They average around 3' 8" and around 120 lbs. They have pale skin, black or near-black eyes, and monochromatic hair(IE, black, white, grey, etc.) They are lithe, despite their immense weight.

Relations

They get along well enough with most humanoids, though generally don't trust anything that can silence their wonderful soudns.

Alignment

They are as different in alignment as sounds are different, ranging the whole spectrum. No one alignment is dominating.

Lands

They hail from the Elemental Plane of Sound, so they are very often found in any sort of place, enjoying the sounds of the Material Plane.

Religion

They follow every god, enjoying the chanting and hymns that go along with the religion rather than the faith themselves.

Language

Auditae speak Auditarian, along with Common, due to the high traffic between the planes.

Names

Names are based upon the first sound uttered, which can vary wildly.

Racial Traits

• +2 Wisdom, +2 Constitution, -2 Charisma, -2 Strength: They are wise after their travels, and are hardy for their size, though they are seen as annoying with the sounds they repeat often, and are weaker due to their non-need to perform physical combat.
• Outsider(Sonic): An outsider is at least partially composed of the essence (but not necessarily the material) of some plane other than the Material Plane.
• Small: As a Small creature, a gnome gains a +1 size bonus to Armor Class, a +1 size bonus on attack rolls, and a +4 size bonus on Hide checks, but he uses smaller weapons than humans use, and his lifting and carrying limits are three-quarters of those of a Medium character.
• Auditae base land speed is 30 feet.
• +2 racial bonus on Move Silently: They can innately control the amount of sound they produce.
• +2 racial bonus on Listen: They often partake in simply sitting and listening, and as such have become keen listeners.
• Sonic Resistance 10: The Elemental Plane of Sound has hardened their resolve to sonic effects.
• Spell-Like Ability: Sonic Burst 1/day: Like Sonic Burst. Caster level is 1/2 Character Level. The save DC is Wisdom-based.
• Automatic Languages: Auditarian, Common. Bonus Languages: Dwarven, Elven, Goblin, Celestial, Draconic, Auran.
• Favored Class: Sonic Warrior (3.5e Class).
