Ascendant Tiefling, Variant (5e Race Variant)

Ascendant Tiefling

This subrace of tieflings regained the radiant aspect their demonic ancestors lost. However, they haven't quite shaken off their sinister heritage. Ascendant tieflings usually have shorter horns and tails, and often have white or gold hair. Members of this subrace feel pressured to appear perfect and celestial, and so most ascendant tieflings are strongly religious. Even those who aren't people of the cloth feel a strong sense of obligation to certain deities.

Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom score increases by 1 instead of your Intelligence score.
Radiant Legacy. Instead of Infernal Legacy. You know the light cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the healing word spell once and need to finish a long rest before you can cast it again. When you reach 5th level, you can also cast the augury spell once and need to finish a long rest before you can cast it again. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Radiant Tongue. Instead of Infernal, you can speak, read and write Celestial.
Celestial Resistance. Instead of Hellish Resistance, you have resistance to necrotic damage.
