Arachnicid Beast
Those affected with type 2 Arachnomania will turn into an Arachnicid Beast. They will become extremely violent and may take on some spider-like behaviors.
- Prerequisite
Only beasts and monstrosities large or smaller who have fully gone through the transformation caused by type 2 Arachnomania can become Arachnicid Beasts
Statistics
Type. The creature's type changes to Monstrosity
Abilities. The creature is unable to use any non-natural armor. Natural armor gets a +4 Bonus. The creature also gains a climbing speed of 30ft and loses all proficients with armor, tools, or weaponry.
Languages The creature is only able to communicate in a series of clicks and hisses.
Skills Loss of all previous skills expect for Perception and Stealth. Perception gets a +proficiency bonus added onto it and Stealth gets a +double proficiency bonus.
Alignment Chaotic Evil if it was not already
Traits
Spider Climb. The Arachnicid Beast can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.
Web Sense. While in contact with a web, the Arachnicid Beast knows the exact location of any other creature in contact with the same web.
Web Walker. The Arachnicid Beast ignores Movement restrictions caused by webbing.
Actions
Bite.Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: (1d8 + 3) piercing damage plus (2d8)poison damage. The target must make a dc on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one If the poison damage reduces the target to 0 hit points, the target is stable but poisoned for 1 hour, even after regaining hit points, and is paralyzed while poisoned in this way
Web (recharge 5-6). Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 30/60 ft., one creature. The target is restrained by webbing As an action, the restrained target can make a DC 12 Strength check, bursting the webbing on a success. The webbing can also be attacked and destroyed (AC 10; hp 5; vulnerability to fire damage; immunity to bludgeoning, poison, and psychic damage)
CR Calculation
Depends on the previous size and AC of the creature
