History

From the birth of all races, to long in the future, there has been and will be tools. They always are alive, even when they seem they’re not. The souls are stronger than ever before, as the appliance is born.

Society

Most socialize with Morse code, radio frequencies, and even binary. This embodies a “hive mind.”

Appliance Names

Naming is simple: take the real appliance and add ‘’’ious/ous/us’’’ or other suffix to the end.


Appliance Traits

Hive Mind
Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 2 and your Wisdom score increases by 2.
Age. No growth. Lifespan depends on real appliance.
Alignment. Normally good.
Size. Keep the normal appliance size, but special considerations should be taken into account for excessively small or large characters.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 20 feet.
darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Live Wire. Zap a being. Deals 1 damage for intent to attack, but can get others’ attention without dealing damage.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common, Code, Morse, Binary and one other language of your choice.
