Flying ant swarms are nightmares to those who would come across their path. These ants are different from averaged winged ants because these ants are the average for their species, not prospective reproducers.

Combat

A flying ant swarm seeks to surround and attack any living prey it encounters. A swarm deals 1d6 points of damage to any creature whose space it occupies at the end of its move. If a swarm successfully kills a creature, it will begin tearing it apart to transport back to the colony.

Distraction (Ex): Any living creature that begins its turn with a flying ant swarm in its space must succeed on a DC 11 Fortitude save or be nauseated for 1 round. The save DC is Constitution-based.

Skills: A flying ant swarm has a +4 racial bonus on Hide and Climb checks.
