Scout

Fighter Subclass

Any force on the move, whether it’s an army or an adventuring group, needs information about what’s ahead and what’s behind and, more important, time to prepare for battle. A scout can navigate difficult terrain at good speed, and she specializes in seeing her foe before the opponent ever detects her presence. In a dungeon or in the wild, a scout is seen only when she wants to be.

Skirmish

At level 3, when a scout moves at least 10 feet before making an attack they receive +1d6 to damage rolls made by weapons and a +1 bonus to AC. This increases to +2d6 and +2 AC at 10th level, +3d6 and +3 AC at 15th level, and +4d6 and +4 AC at level 18. A scout loses these benefits if wearing medium or heavy armor, or wielding a shield.

Quickness

At level 7, the scout gains a +10 movement speed bonus and a bonus to initiative equal to their Wisdom modifier. A scout loses these benefits if wearing medium or heavy armor or wielding a shield.

Quick Reflexes

At level 10, the scout gains the Uncanny dodge ability, as rogue. This improves at level 18 to also get them the Evasion skill, as rogue.

Blindsense

At level 15 the scout gains the blindsense ability as they are used to tracking and being tracked. This ability increases to blindsight at level 18. Both variations of these abilities have a range of 30 feet.

Fleet of Foot

At level 18 the scout's abilities reach their strongest levels allowing the scout to be under the constant effects of the Freedom of Movement spell.

gollark: You could just say that if a missile is relatively close to its previous position it's the same missile. That would have... problems sometimes, though.

gollark: Are we getting actually sensibly tall mountains?
gollark: Vanilla does tend to have content which is more polished somehow, but a lot less of it.
gollark: That looks nice, though mods have been doing it for some time.
