Trivial
An period-n oscillator is considered trivial if none of its cells oscillate at the full period, i.e. period n. By definition, an oscillator is trivial if and only if its strict volatility is precisely 0.
Trivial oscillators are not generally considered interesting, except insofar as that no non-trivial examples of period-34 oscillators in Life are known.
