Target
A target is a necessary component of a slow salvo recipe used by a single-arm universal constructor. A target usually consists of a single object, or sometimes a small constellation of common still lifes and/or oscillators. If no hand target is available, a construction arm may be unable to construct anything, unless recipes are available to generate targets directly from the elbow.
Intermediate target
An intermediate target is a temporary product of a partial slow salvo, elbow operation, or glider synthesis. An intermediate target is a useful step toward a desired outcome, but will not appear in the final construction.
gollark: It seems like you're just writing more code for no reason.
gollark: Which captures the intention much more explicitly, I think.
gollark: Versus `data Test = Test Int`.
gollark: It is still somewhat boilerplatey.
gollark: That's still three lines and an extra one for every property.
