Shinjuku
Shinjuku[note 1] is a database of glider syntheses started by Jeremy Tan on April 10, 2019, as well as a collection of related Python scripts powered by lifelib. It uses a custom format to encode each step of an incremental synthesis, containing the starting apgcode, the locations of the gliders, and the apgcode of the resulting object.

Notes
- Named after Shinjuku Station, a train station in Tokyo and the busiest in the world.
gollark: They should have UUIDs or fun WORD codenames.
gollark: Why give anomalies numbers and not IDs? We should at least use hexadecimals.
gollark: Why not use cooler codenames like CODENAME ITALICIZED SEALSKIN?
gollark: You could run into a designatohazard like 048.
gollark: Maybe random UUIDs? Cool two-word names like UNRECOGNIZABLE PENTAMETER?
