Oscillizer

Oscillizer is an online utility created and maintained by Jason Summers that gives a useful period map of the cells in an oscillator. Each different period in the oscillator rotor gets a different color in the map. A chart is provided as a key to the period colors and shows for each: count, percent of total and percent of rotor.

It also provides vital statistics for the oscillator: period, population min, population max, population average, active cells in rotor, cells in stator, total cells, volatility, strict volatility, heat minimum, heat maximum, heat average, temperature, rotor temperature, bounding box and rule.

To use the utility, paste the oscillator RLE into the box and select "Analyze". The program is also provided for download and use offline.
