Glider loop
Glider loop (or simply loop) is a pattern in which two gliders are bounced back and forth between two ever-retreating 7-engine Corderships. This same glider-bouncing reaction can be seen in sawtooth 362.[1]

- This article is about the aperiodic pattern using Corderships to bounce gliders back and forth. For glider loop oscillators, see Adjustable glider loops.
As gmc_nxtman pointed out in January 2018, a 2-engine Cordership can reflect a glider 180 degrees while preserving its mod-4 timing,[2] giving an updated version of glider loop:

gollark: Targeted adverts, though?
gollark: Adverts are currently evil and will get increasingly bad as people begin to realize that advertising may not actually be as effective as is hoped and the adtech industry tries to squeeze blood out of a stone by frantically scooping up more and more data.
gollark: More predictions: people will continue to try and get rid of plastic straws and do other such entirely ineffective stuff because environment.
gollark: Ice, yes.
gollark: Seems like we're going for Mars first, sadly.
