By flops

By flops (or butterfly[1]) is a period-2 oscillator found by Robert Wainwright[2] that is extremely similar to why not: in fact in one phase it is only one cell different. It first appeared naturally on May 21, 2015, in a soup submitted to Catagolue by Brett Berger.[3]
