Blonk

Blonk is a collective term for either a block or a blinker, the two most common objects in Life. It is primarily used in the context of sparse Life, and was coined by Rich Schroeppel in September 1992; the name is due to the fact that all triplets of live cells either die or form blinkers or blocks in one generation.[1]
