Backrake 3

Backrake 3 is a period 64 backrake that was found in the early 1970s. It is most notable for being used in the construction of breeder 1. It consists of a puffer 1 together with two additional heavyweight spaceships and four middleweight spaceships to convert the debris into gliders.[1] Although it emits a glider every 32 generations, the debris cleanup takes 64 generations to complete, making it a pseudo period-32 rake.
