Boolean
Boolean is a type that allows variables to have the values true
and false
,[1] and is therefore used to represent truth. Control statements such as if
, while
, and repeat until
accept boolean expressions, which they use to decide whether or not they will execute their bodies.[2] Booleans are operated on by the logic operators.
