the buggy UEFI firmware of the Aspire 3 a315-56 model

So the firmware of this laptop is like really buggy, and you need to put the laptop to sleep ( suspend to ram ) to even see the internal storage connected to the SATA interface.

    the command to do it:

     echo mem > /sys/power/state

    considering to buy one: DON'T

seriously, do not buy Acer laptops, already had a horrible Linux experience with this one.

I guess its too much to ask of Acer to see my internal storage without having to constantly put it to sleep and waking it up?

And of course, windows 10 works without a single problem, BecauseNonWindowsUsersAreNotPeople,AmIRightGuys

God bless Asus, their firmware had its bugs, but it wasn't this bad.

10/10, would definitely throw my laptop out of the window again -IGN
