Scott Pilgrim contains numerous Running Gags. A few token examples:

• (Knives Chau: 17 years old.)
• Should we be letting her drink beer?
• Slightly less prevalent: "Jason? You mean the guy with a car?"
• Moral high ground.
  • Nah, Scott's just a pussy.
• In volume 6: CASUAL SEX
• August 27th is not Scott's birthday.
• Scott can't remember who anyone is that he doesn't already know. Including his own brother.
• Examples of this trope could probably fill a page all on their own.
• One more: "I don't have to answer that."
• Wait, don't forget the memory cams in Volume 6.
