Monty Python's The Meaning of Life/Trivia
- Hey, It's That Guy!: Matt Frewer is an executive of the fat modern bank that the CPA plunders and pillages. He gets to drop a Precision F-Strike when he realizes he's the last survivor of the boardroom.
- Retroactive Recognition
- The teacher's wife in the sex education scene? That's Patricia Quinn, better known as Magenta from The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Many RHPS fans were pleased.
- Harder to notice, but Daphne is a dancer in the "Christmas in Heaven" and "Every Sperm is Sacred" numbers.
- Max Headroom as a Corrupt Corporate Executive.
- One of the dinner guests who get taken away by Death is Simon Jones. This is especially uncanny given that the afterlife appears to be some kind of restaurant. And humourously, he plays the husband of Terry Jones.
- Trope Namer: Wafer-Thin Mint
- Throw It In: The line, "Hey, I didn't eat the mousse!" was improvised on the spot.
- Too Soon: Post 9-11, a lot of network TV broadcasts of the film had the "Crimson Permanent Assurance" segment either severely chopped down or removed entirely, due to the shots of ruined skyscrapers near the end of it. Granted, the segment often got removed anyway for timing reasons, but it's become a lot more common to see it omitted in recent years.
