Known Troper

A known troper is a person who has created a user account to edit a trope wiki. The term getting known refers to creating an account.

In All The Tropes, tropers become known through Special:UserLogin/signup on any Miraheze wiki and have these rights while logged in.

In TV Tropes, accounts were created through the "Get Known" tool.
