The music video for "On Your Mark" by Chage & Aska becomes a lot less cool and a lot more creepy when you realize why the two rescuers stopped the car at the end: they likely died of radiation poisoning. This becomes doubly creepy when you think of the temporal manipulations that occurred: given that time rewinds at several points in the music video to ensure the escape, they were basically pawns of the angel, sacrificed so she could escape.
