Marcus Macauley

Marcus Macauley also known as "Marcus Papee Macauley" (born 27 October 1991) is Liberian international footballer who plays professionally for the club Al-Ahli SC (Amman), primarily as a midfielder. He is also a member of the Liberia national football team (The Lone Star). He made his debut for the Lone Star against Zimbabwe and scored his first International Goal for Liberia in September 2013 against Angola at the Tundavala National Stadium in Lubango.[8][9] at the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification match.[10]

Early career

Monrovia Club Breweries

Marcus started his club career with the club Monrovia Club Breweries in early 2011 and played for the Liberian Club for a year before moving to LISCR FC (Liberian First Division Club). He than moved to Sweden to play for Swedish Third Division club IF Limhamn Bunkeflo. After one season, he moved to Hungary first league club Kiscmeti Ti.

Al-Ahli

In July 2014, Marcus sealed a deal with Jordan top flight club Al-Ahli where he helped the club to win the Jordan Cup in the 2015-2016 Jordan Cup season.

International career and goals

Marcus was first called up to join the Liberia national football team in a match against Zimbabwe and he scored his first International Goal in September 2013 at the Tundavala National Stadium in Lubango.[11][12]
