Kintampo North Municipal District
The Kintampo North Municipal District[2] is one of the eleven districts of the Bono East Region and was one of the twenty-two (22) districts of the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. Its capital is Kintampo.[3]

History
Kintampo North Municipal District is the remainder of the former Kintampo District after the Kintampo South District had been split off, on November 12, 2003.
