Eric Slick

Eric Slick (born May 15, 1987)[1] is an American singer, songwriter and drummer. He is the drummer of Dr. Dog,[2] performing on their albums Shame, Shame (2010),[3] Be The Void (2012),[4] B-Room (2013),[5] The Psychedelic Swamp (2016)[6] and Abandoned Mansion (2016).[7] Slick released his debut solo album Palisades on April 21, 2017 to positive reviews from Consequence of Sound,[8] Relix[8] and Tidal, in which Greg Saunier of Deerhoof rated the album "10 out of 10 stars."[9]

Biography

Slick is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and began playing drums at age 5.[10] Aside from Dr. Dog and solo records, Slick has also performed/recorded with Adrian Belew,[11] Nels Cline (Wilco),[12] Daniel Rossen (Grizzly Bear[13]), R. Stevie Moore,[14] Cass McCombs,[12] and Ween.[15][16] Slick also operates a vinyl label, Least Records.[17]
